Course information Mata kuliah ini membahas tentang konsep dasar simulasi dan posisinya terhadap teknik-teknik analisis lainnya; Langkah-langkah pemodelan simulasi; Pembangkit bilangan random; Pembangkit variat random; Analisis keluaran simulasi; Verifikasi dan validasi model simulasi, Analisis perbandingan berbagai konfigurasi sistem; Teknik reduksi variansi; Perancangan eksperimen dalam simulasi dan pembuatan skenario simulasi; Pemodelan sistem manufaktur, pemodelan sistem penanganan bahan dan pemodelan sistem pelayanan dalam simulas
This course dealing with concept of system simulation and its position among others problem solving approach, steps in simulation modelling, random number generator, random variable generator, simulation output analysis, simulation model verification and validation, system configuration comparison analysis, variance reduction technique, experiment design on simulation study and development of simulation scenario, material handling system modelling and service system modelling in simulation.

Learning outcomes Untuk memberikan pemahaman terhadap mahasiswa agar mampu (1) memodelkan permasalahan real ke dalam model simulasi komputer (2) mengembangkan skenario simulasi yang akan dijalankan dengan menggunakan model simulasi komputer (3) menganalisis dan mengambil keputusan berdasarkan output statistik hasil simulasi komputer
To develop an understanding for (1) modelling real problem to computer simulation model, (2) developing simulation scenario, (3) analyzing and making the decision based on the statistical output from the result of computer simulation.
